I grew up with ponies usually sharing with my sisters, we went hunting and I joined the pony club when I was about 13. I didn't ride much while I trained to be a nurse but started again in my late twenty's when I bought a lovely roan Welsh Cob called Rocket, we broke her to harness which meant I could keep going at the same time as having a family.

It was about that time I met Penny Grant when we were dropping our children off at Play school and we met to go on fun rides do some hunting and then joined the riding club, been there ever since! I've had some horses who have been real chums and now I have the lovely Frodo and a pony called Mary for my grandchildren and I drive her too so hopefully can emulate the Queen and keep going into my 90's with horses!
