area Competitions

Area 18 encompasses parts of Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire which includes 16 affiliated clubs.

As part of the Area committee’s commitment to fair and equal access the Area group aim to run all available area qualifier competitions, as well as providing training opportunities for riders and horses of all abilities and across all disciplines while promoting a healthy, friendly, competitive atmosphere.

Area Qualifiers:
From October of this year, BRC are changing the way we enter area competitions. BRC has introduced a 'competition pass'; this will take the place of 'Pre-Entries. To compete and qualify for BRC championships, all entrants must possess a valid club membership AND a valid competition pass - these can be purchased via the sport80 portal. Any member competing at a qualifier without both membership and a competition pass, will be diqualified.
SSRC has been paying all pre-entry fees for club members and we will continue to pay for your competition pass to enable you to compete in area competitions as a SSRC member.

***Please ensure that before putting yourself forward for an Area Competition that your horse's vaccincations are fully up to date***
